During the "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" period, my country's textile industry successfully responded to the impact of many unfavorable factors such as the global financial crisis, the appreciation of the RMB exchange rate, and the sharp rise in production costs. It further strengthened the optimization and integration of resources, and made great progress in production, operation, brand building and other fields. Strengthening international integration has promoted a greater improvement in the industry’s international competitiveness and comparative advantages, and has basically achieved the development goals of a major home textile country. Some well-known brands of home textiles include Luolai, Mengjie, Ailaiyi and so on. As the first year of the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" in 2011, our country's textile industry is in a good situation. In 2011, 1548 enterprises above designated size in the home textile industry completed a total industrial output value of 209.765 billion yuan, an export delivery value of 53.911 billion yuan, a total profit of 12.24 billion yuan, and a production-sales ratio of 97.97%. my country's clothing textile consumption accounts for about 65% of the total textile consumption, home textile consumption only accounts for 23%, and the per capita consumption of home textiles accounts for less than 1% of consumer expenditure. Judging from the actual gap in the consumption of home textiles at home and abroad and the future development trend, China's textile industry has huge room for development. During the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" period, the main task of the development of the home textile industry is to guide consumption and actively expand domestic demand; innovate channels to promote enterprises to become stronger and bigger; promote home textile culture and strengthen brand building; optimize industrial layout and promote gradient development; integrate resources, Improve the contribution rate of science and technology; strengthen personnel training to consolidate the foundation of a strong country; practice low-carbon environmental protection and achieve sustainable development; improve public service platforms and create a good industrial environment.
