Fabric fire protection measures
1. The warehouse should avoid the prosperous city, close to the edge of the urban area and have water sources, and be located in the upwind or side wind direction of the prevailing wind direction throughout the year, and fences should be built or other protective measures should be taken. The anti-personnel distance between the fabric warehouse, storage yard and outdoor substations and buildings shall be arranged in accordance with the specific requirements of relevant national regulations.
2. It is not allowed to build flammable buildings in fabric warehouses and storage yards, and it is not appropriate to set up rest rooms and custodian offices in the warehouses. The fire resistance grade, number of floors and area of the warehouse shall comply with relevant regulations.
3. There should be a certain limit for the fabrics stored in the warehouse. Leave a passage between the stacks. The width of the main passage should be at least 2 meters, and the width of the small passage should be at least 1.5 meters to facilitate operation and ventilation. In warehouses with Class I or II fire resistance, the height of the stacks should not be less than 2 meters from the roof; in warehouses with a gable roof and Class III fire resistance, the height of the stacks should not be less than 1 meter from the beams.
4. When the total storage of large and semi-outdoor storage yard exceeds 5000 tons of fabrics, separate storage yards shall be set up, and the fire separation distance between storage yards shall be at least 30 meters. The bottom area of each stack should be less than 100 square meters, and the stack height should be less than 6 meters. The stacks are arranged in groups, each group is less than 6 stacks, the distance between stacks is greater than 6 meters, and the distance between groups is greater than 15 meters. The distance between the stack and the outer wall is greater than 5 meters. The stack base should be moisture-proof, and the top of the stack should be covered with thatch cloth to prevent rainwater and flying fire from falling into the stack. Do not use iron wire or other metal to bind the fabric to prevent induced current caused by lightning strikes.
5. Power cords and electrical devices are not allowed in the warehouse, and floodlights can be used for lighting in the warehouse. Before the battery is changed, the power supply in the library should be connected to the external socket of the library and introduced into the library with a non-damaged and connector-free rubber sheathed cable. The power supply should be cut off immediately after use. No raw materials should be stacked under wires, sockets, and switches.
